Thursday 4th December 2025 – Blue Hour Trip to London Twelve members of the club set off for London in search of photographic glory (or at the very least, a decent shot). Most of us caught the 2:15 pm train from Billericay to Liverpool Street, while a few particularly enthusiastic souls arrived much earlier to maximise their chances. Whitby Trip — Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th, 2025 Fourteen club members, along with several partners, enjoyed a four-day trip to Whitby. The 260-mile journey went smoothly for everyone. Most of us stayed at The Royal Hotel, while others chose a nearby Airbnb apartment. The weather was… well, character-building. Cold, grey, and often wet enough to make a duck think twice. Still, armed with optimism and waterproofs of varying effectiveness, we split into groups and headed out to explore....

14 members went to RHS Hyde Hall Gardens in Rettendon on the 15 th  of October. The former working farm  has been maintained as a public display garden by the  Royal Horticultural Society  since 1993. The 360-acre site encompasses a range of garden styles, from the Dry Garden with drought resistant plants, to the Hilltop Garden with roses and herbaceous borders. So many opportunities to photograph the autumn colours in the extensive grounds. With two excellent restaurants we enjoyed a coffee...
