Warning over Castle
Here at Photofold Camera Club, we are constantly engaging in events and club outings with various different clubs within the photography community.
Throughout the numerous COVID-19 lock-downs, we were still actively engaging with our members through holding Zoom presentation evenings as well as competitions.
As we begin to get back to normality, we hope to get back to competing in local as well as national events once again.

Schools Photographic Competition 2021
Every year Photofold Camera Club organises a schools photographic competition for 7 – 11 year olds. Twenty-one new cameras were purchased in 2018 for the schools to use. This was made possible due to a gratefully received donation from the Billericay Round Table.
Four local schools took part this year with pupils taking the photographs during September and early October and this year's exhibition was held in the children's section of Billericay library during November 2021. The theme this year was 'Still Life'.
We received an excellent range of images that were then judged by Chris Thurman OBE. The winners were presented with their trophies and certificates on Saturday 30th October in the children's library. In 1st place was Nataylia-Mai Qema (Brightside School) in second place was Isabelle Clark (St Peters) and Lucy Hitchcock (South Green) was awarded 3rd place.
